Portal Entryways receivers can be installed on any low energy automatic door operator motor that can be activated with a normally open relay switch. We will be sure to work with you prior to installation to review your specific existing door technology and ensure our system is compatible. Our team will then install our hardware component on your door.
Use Portal Manager: Set Up Wizard
After installing the device, you will be guided through customizing your door settings via the Portal Manager App. This software installation portion will allow you to GPS mark each door, and customize features such as door opening distance, door name, and photo. You will then be able to track the usage of each door, right from your smartphone.
Finally, the Portal team will thoroughly test each door to make sure that each entryway functions properly and fits your specifications. This completes the installation process, and your doors will now open hands free.
Through this simple installation, wheelchair users will now be able to open handicap doors with their smartphone via the Portal Entryways App. With the Portal receivers now installed on your entryways, users can simply approach doors with their smartphones, have the doors open for them hands-free, and have it stay open until they are safely through — saving up to a minute of navigation time per door for some wheelchair users.
